District Chapters shall not conduct elections.
All office bearers of the District Chapter shall be appointed by the National Body of ASDF from among eligible Active Members of the concerned district.

The appointment shall be made through an official appointment order issued by the National Body of ASDF.
Tenure of Office BearersThe term of office for all District Chapter office bearers shall be two (2) years.
An office bearer shall be eligible for re-appointment for a maximum of three (3) consecutive terms, subject to satisfactory performance.
The National Body of ASDF reserves the right to review, replace, reappoint, or remove any office bearer at any time in the interest of the organization.

She is an alumna of the prestigious Periyar University, Salem, where she completed her B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics
Dr. KASI KAMALAKKANNAN is the Founder and Secretary of the Amateur Sports Development Federation (ASDF) of India, established with a clear vision of promoting physical education, grassroots sports, and inclusive sporting opportunities, particularly for children from rural areas and economically weaker sections. Under his guidance, ASDF integrates sports and physical education in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, fostering a culture of physical activity across schools, colleges, and communities.
With over 23 years of experience as a Director of Physical Education, Dr. KASI KAMALAKKANNAN has dedicated his career to the upliftment of sports and physical education in India. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Alagappa University College of Physical Education, Karaikudi, where he completed his Master’s degrees in Physical Education, and earned his Doctorate from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
Dr. KASI KAMALAKKANNAN has played a pivotal role in creating sporting opportunities for all, enabling ASDF to reach underserved communities and nurture talent at the grassroots level. He has made significant contributions to research and development in physical education and sports, with numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His expertise has also been recognized internationally through visits and presentations at sports and physical education congresses in the UK, USA, Singapore, and Malaysia.

All academic, educational, and professional institutions are eligible to apply for Institutional Membership with the Amateur Sports Development Federation (ASDF).
